About

I’ve always been drawn to books—first in search of truth, then for escape, and now for peace.
Reading began as a quest to understand the human experience, but somewhere along the way, it became a refuge and a way to quiet my mind. I also love to create, and I can’t help but write down the thoughts that books stir in me. This site is where those reflections live—a space for literary insight, personal musings, and the joy of reading

Music has become an essential part of that experience.
Over time, I’ve learned to pair my reading with carefully curated playlists that match the time and place of each book. When I read Shakespeare, for instance, I immerse myself in English Renaissance music. Each playlist features composers from the same nationality and classical era as the book’s setting, following the classifications from Classical Archives. You’ll find these playlists included with each post—hopefully they’ll enrich your reading journey as much as they’ve deepened mine.

I’m glad you’re here and invite you to follow along. I hope you find something that resonates.

For this world also which seems to us a thing of stone and flower and blood is not a thing at all but is a tale. – Cormac McCarthy, “The Crossing”
